Went to the Race of Champions at the weekend at Wembley, was so good! The private box helped as you could just nip back inside for a beer/champagne/wine… or more realistically a nice warm cup of tea because it was freezing cold! Lunch for the day before was at the Kensington Roof Gardens, which was really great food and odd in that it has a nice set of gardens outside (including Flamingos) 100ft above the ground!

Anyway, as for the racing itself, the highlight of the day had to be the stunt riders on their motorbikes and the total loon who, whilst doing donuts in his car, proceeded to get out of the car and stand on the bonnet! Then he got off completely, got into another car and drove in circles around the original car which was still doing donuts all on its own! Mmmm donuts. Everyone there agreed that as with all racing, the best thing isn’t the driver skill but instead it’s when one of them prangs their car, teehee – that happened a few times during the day luckily.
